AHHHH!

I am asking someone to Sadie Hawkins. Please pray for me, I am scared out of my mind.

actually, I am not worried about him. Here is the deal. I work until about 5:30. Then, I have League Choir Practice at 6:30 at school. We asked the boys (two of us are doing this at once) to meet us at ten to six. At the mall. then we have a little scavenger hunt thing, there are five clues total. I told my guy on one of the envelopes that he has like 30 mintues, tops. I really need him to finish in that amount of time, and the other guy too, because of how all this is being worked out. Yeah, so basically, I am just a little worried that I won't make it back to choir practice in time and Parm will hate me. I might talk to her tomorrow morning, but I am not sure. So please just pray that all of this works out, and then that I don't suddenly break out all over my face because of the strees. That would really stink since the dance is Saturday.

So? How did it turn out?

It went well. But Austin Curry sucks at scavenger hunts. Logan took about 20 minutes, while Austin (and Trevor mind you, was "helping") took forty minutes. No joke.

but yes. I AM GOING TO MY FIRST SCHOOL DANCE!!! (with a really hot guy!)

(haha)

So, you want to know what Ms. Parmenter really hates? Sit down at her piano sometime with a friend and start playing "Heart and Soul". It's been 17 years, but I bet you still get the same reaction.

:D

OH YEAH! Someone did that my freshmen year, and she comes stalking out of her office, with that terrifying look on her face and says, "Who told said you could touch my piano?"

Yeah, it was kind of scary.

Heart and Soul's even better.... My friend Jim and I came in and played H&S every morning, MWF, for an entire semester. And we lived to tell about it.... It was music theory, so we mixed it up with whatever we were learning.... one player in C and the other in C# or different time signature... modal... regressive... whatever....

And Jim was an awesome piano player. He was so good he made me sound good! By the end of the semester, it sounded nothing like Heart and Soul.... Every morning Parms would just cringe...

(We did get scolded pretty harsh for putting our chocolate milk and "wax" chocolate donettes on her piano though... I wouldn't recommend that one....)
