It is a joke from "HitchHikers Guid to the Galaxy" which I am really excited for.

(this is not a brag or anything) but I never really have, I get frustrated sometimes with living up to my standards but that is about it.

do you think it's bad to be tired of being a christian?

i think it is foolish to expect that we would be on fire spiritually all the time. of course we will have times when we feel fed up with being a Christian. i don't know if that is a sin or not, but i would say that if you're worried about it being a sin, you (not you specifically) are not truly tired of being a Christian.

Take AP Spanish, yes. I never get tired of being a Christian because I'm not.

that wasn't exactly the answer i was looking for.

and it's not about being on fire for God. it's mainly that I'm tired of being identified with this group of fundamentalists and weirdos and hypocrits. and i'm tired of trying to live up to people's standards. i'm not perfect, i want people to stop acting like i should be. and i want people to be real and normal and honest. if your relationship with God sucks, admit it. If you cuss, oh my gosh, so what, everyone struggles with something.

I'm just tired of being with a bunch of freaks who aren't real about anything.
